We are engaging Criminal Lawyers with experience in BigLaw Firms to contribute to a unique customer project at the intersection of law and technology. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  • Analyze and interpret criminal law documents, including statutes, case law, and court filings, to extract relevant insights.
  • Review and edit complex legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with established standards.
  • Summarize legal arguments, decisions, and procedural issues for use in training legal AI models.
  • Distill and articulate intricate legal concepts and reasoning into concise, accessible language.
  • Provide actionable feedback on legal content to ensure accuracy and real-world applicability.
  • Stay current with developments in criminal law and integrate new knowledge into project tasks.
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams using digital platforms to deliver project milestones.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • JD or LLM degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
  • Substantial experience practicing criminal law, particularly within BigLaw or major law firm environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and writing in the context of criminal matters.
  • Proven ability to review and synthesize large volumes of legal information with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining nuanced legal issues.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and sound legal judgment.
  • Interest or experience in legal technology and willingness to adapt to new digital platforms for remote collaboration.
