What will you be doing?

Your days as an Employee Technical Service at the Eden Hotel Amsterdam are never the same and that is exactly what makes your job so interesting! In the morning some repair work is scheduled in the hotel rooms. After hard work, it is time for a well-deserved lunch break. In the afternoon you will assist with work on the facade, carried out by an external company. In between you are called by the reception; a guest reports that the lights are not working. A simple job for you, and you have it fixed in no time. You are always ready to help the guests and provide them with the very best service.

Who are we?

The new Eden Hotel Amsterdam has undergone a complete metamorphosis after its renovation. We have the Centre Stage hotel bar, Obsidian as a music venue and a beautiful Food Theatre where you can eat and drink all day long and a self-service concept has been rolled out in the new lobby The addition of 5 new rooms brings the total to no less than 391 and makes us one of the largest hotels in the center of Amsterdam. A large number of rooms were also refurbished with a Burlesque theme. The history of Eden Hotels and the history of the hotel and its surroundings are brought to the fore in every aspect of the new design.

Job requirements

Who are you?

You have experiencing leading a Team, preferably hotel maintenance team

You have experiencing leading handling projects for hotel developments 

You are a practical problem solver with a can-do attitude and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

As a technically-minded individual, you have a vast understanding of various installations and maintenance works.

You have completed at least an MBO education in technology.

You can handle the heat when the pressure is on. You can keep a cool head and find solutions even in the most demanding situations.

You are available to work at least one weekend shift per month.

You speak fluent English.

You live in (the vicinity of) Amsterdam.
