The Role:
Now, the Global Payments Team is recruiting experts in the PHP domain. You will be based in either the Shanghai or Netherlands R&D center, serving as a key member of the PHP project. You will be involved in the development and integration of merchant services for various scenarios, assisting independent e-commerce website merchants in achieving end-to-end payment services and enhancing user experiences. Definitely, as a key member, you will actively develop new features, optimize the code, and collaborate closely with teams in both China and the Netherlands.

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of the Airwallex engineering system;
• Work with the business/product team to deeply understand the business needs, scenarios, and subsequent development directions, complete system analysis, architecture design, and core function development, and be able to grasp the design of complex systems to ensure the quality of complex architecture;
• Design and develop components based on the company's microservice framework;
• Introduce innovative technologies and innovative solutions for the team;
• Responsible for the construction and management of the technical team, and establishing good internal coding standards.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and object-oriented PHP programming.
• Undergraduate and above in key colleges, computer science, and related majors.
• Familiar with common design patterns, with experience in the design and development of large-scale high availability systems.
• Master various common server technologies, which can optimize service response and data onse and data query, ensure various service quality, and solve the problems of high concurrency and high availabilityFamiliar with HTTP, TCP / IP protocol, and REST specifications;
• Familiar with the use of Docker, K8s, and Cloud.
• Basic understanding of fronting of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Knowledge of WordPress and WordPress payment plugins (payment plugins - WooCommerce, Magento, etc. ) is highly valued.
