Rituals is a dynamic and innovative company committed to delivering cutting-edge design solutions. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to lead our Design Development projects.
YOU ARE ALL ABOUT
In the role of a project manager, your job is to deliver a successful development project within the defined budget, timeline, and quality standards by effectively planning, coordinating, and leading the project team.
Your role , based in Amsterdam nvolves overseeing the successful implementation of Format & Design projects, specifically targeting our stores in Asia. The scope of these projects encompasses the project management of the development of new concepts, furniture, displays, promotional podiums & windows, soft & hard personalisations, as well as managing the logistics and in-store installations. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in researching and establishing a streamlined process for the local production of displays & styling items within Asia.
Each project presents unique challenges, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment. While you won't be the designer yourself, your creative mindset will be essential in bringing the envisioned designs to life in our stores, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.
BRING ALL OF YOU
Lead and manage the design development projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with project stakeholders internally such as designers, visual merchandising, marketing, local teams, procurement, supply chain and external suppliers to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets. Also, track progress and make adjustments as necessary.
Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or feedback.
Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and expectations.
Take initiative, show entrepreneurship and a high level of independence and strive for improvement of existing projects and processes.
SHARE YOUR TALENTS
Have at least 5 years experience as a Project Manager in design development or related field and experience in managing multidisciplinary projects within a retail or other fast-paced environment (preferably in Asia).
Have a strong understanding of the furniture & display design principles and development processes.
Hold a minimum level of bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Maintain a flexible mindset as Rituals is growing, and things change often.
Exhibit excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Have a problem-solving mindset and the ability to think creatively.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills (Dutch & English required and Mandarin preferred). You can level with everyone, right up to senior management.
Have significant experience with Excel and Office.
