Job description

Braun Management focuses on solving structural organizational friction within complex business systems. We provide leadership teams with the evidence-backed analysis needed to resolve long-standing internal performance issues and clarify decision rights.
The Junior CSS Developer position exists to support a significant engagement with our partner, a European logistics provider. As this client undergoes a period of restructuring and operational refinement, their internal digital tools must reflect these new organizational realities. You will assist in maintaining and improving the visual layer of these systems, ensuring that the staff can navigate complex data and reporting structures without unnecessary technical friction. This is a permanent, full-time role that is conducted entirely in a remote environment.

What you will do
  • Maintain and update CSS stylesheets for a variety of internal management and reporting applications.
  • Translate functional designs and wireframes into clean, logical, and maintainable styles.
  • Ensure visual consistency across the client's internal ecosystem of logistics management tools.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to resolve layout issues and improve user interface performance.
  • Document all style changes and design patterns clearly to maintain a reliable source of truth for the codebase.
  • Test style implementations across different browsers to ensure uniformity and functional precision.
  • Apply accessibility standards to ensure all employees can utilize the internal tools effectively.
  • Work within version control systems to manage changes and contribute to the overall technical documentation.
What we are looking for
  • Foundational knowledge of CSS and HTML, including a grasp of layout techniques like Flexbox or Grid.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision in visual presentation.
  • An interest in how structural information is organized and presented within complex business environments.
  • Basic familiarity with responsive design principles to ensure tools work across various screen sizes.
  • Strong written communication skills, as our remote culture relies heavily on clear documentation.
  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting and fixing visual bugs in a web environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt internal coding standards and naming conventions like BEM.
  • Ability to manage independent tasks effectively while working as part of a distributed team.
How we work
Braun Management operates as a fully remote team, which means we prioritize results and clarity over physical presence. Our work culture is built on accountability and the belief that the most effective communication happens through well-written documents. We avoid the overhead of constant meetings, instead favoring asynchronous collaboration that allows every team member the space to think deeply about the problems we are solving. Precision in language and code is expected, as we deal with high-stakes organizational changes where ambiguity can lead to significant friction.

What we offer
  • A permanent, full-time contract with a stable professional outlook.
  • Fully remote work arrangement, allowing for a flexible daily schedule and no commute.
  • Competitive and attractive pay that reflects the current market for entry level technical roles.
  • Direct exposure to complex consulting projects for major European organizations.
  • A work environment that values quiet focus and long-term professional growth.
  • Access to a team of experienced professionals who value evidence-backed conclusions over hype.
Your work as a Junior CSS Developer will directly influence how employees at the European logistics provider interact with their daily tasks. By ensuring that their tools are visually clear and structurally sound, you help reduce the operational friction that hinders large-scale logistics operations. Through this role, you will gain a practical understanding of how technical detail supports broader organizational goals. The clarity you provide at the interface level is a necessary component of the structural truths we provide to our clients.
