Your Role: The Technical Bridge


As an Application Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of technology and commerce. You will serve as the primary technical-commercial liaison, translating complex process challenges into viable engineering designs. You will drive projects from the initial concept phase through to the final proposal, ensuring alignment between client expectations and internal engineering capabilities.


Your Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key accounts within the process sector.
  • Analyze client requirements and develop tailored, high-performance technical solutions.
  • Draft detailed technical and commercial proposals in coordination with design and project teams.
  • Lead client presentations and provide expert guidance to facilitate decision-making.
  • Manage the negotiation process, securing contracts and ensuring a seamless handover to operations.
  • Keep a pulse on market trends to identify emerging business opportunities.


Your Profile
  • Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Applications Engineering, or Project Sales within a manufacturing or process environment.
  • Strong technical acumen and genuine interest in industrial systems and process technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a consultative sales approach.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (additional languages are beneficial).
  • Willing to travel extensively within the designated territory and meet with the regional team on a regular basis.
