 FP&A Associate Benelux

What the position is about - purpose:

As an FP&A Associate, you will assist the local FP&A Lead, FD, and Local Excom. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the FP&A Manager with preparing OL, LE, and ASP financial reports, helping analyze the performance of plans versus actuals, planning and reporting Marketing & Sales budgets and OPEX, supporting with excise modelling, ensuring accurate price setup and compliance with company operating guidelines, and participating in ad-hoc projects within the market.

What will you do – responsibilities :

Preparation of OL, LE and ASP financials:

Supports FP&A team to ensure that a robust process is in place to provide quality reporting within required timelines

Performance analysis of plans and actuals:

Supports preparation of monthly actuals including summary of volume and P&L plus key highlights: variances to plan, prior year, new price movements etc.

Planning and actual reporting of Marketing & Sales budgets and OPEX:

Prepare analysis and reports on monthly basis, with clear explanations of all variances with regular and ad-hoc reporting to budget owners and top management

Contribute to month/end closing process, checking the accuracy of accounting entries and liaise with Accounting team to correct as needed

Drive process improvement in line with corporate and local business controlling requirements

Financial Modeling & Data Management:

Develop and maintain financial models using spreadsheets and specialized software ( Power BI)

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for analysis and reporting

Stay up-to-date on new financial modeling techniques and best practices

Assist with the implementation and improvement of financial data systems and processes

Ad-hoc:

Support FP&A Lead and FD with ad-hoc requests

Who are we looking for – requirements:

University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration

Financial qualification ( ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is an advantage

Preferably financial analysis or controlling experience in a multinational company (FMCG would serve as an advantage)

Fluent English

MS Office, SAP or similar ERP system experience is an advantage
