As a DevOps engineer at Athlon International you will be responsible for deploying changes to acceptance and production environments ensuring a smooth go live. Part of your job also is contributing to the set up and improvement of CI/CD and supporting multiple DevOps teams with their activities in development and test environments. You play a vital role in the whole process from development to products being delivered, tested, implemented and being monitored. You continuously look for possibilities to automate steps in processes, software and systems. You will be part of the Systems team within Athlon International and will be working together with and facilitating multiple DevOps teams.

You can

• Act as gatekeeper for new developments on existing applications in ISL

• Implement DevOps tooling and contribute to continuous improvement

• Implement CI/CD pipelines with e.g. Jenkins and Azure DevOps

• Create and monitor application performance with required tools and provide and implement performance improvement suggestions when required

• Provide system engineering and operational support

• Support analysis and resolution of incidents/findings in production and other environments and work with DevOps teams to provide and deploy fixes

• Support implementation to on premise and cloud environments and app stores

• Perform verifications/sanity checks before releasing changes

• Support and implement continuous quality checks and improvements e.g. by implementing tooling like SonarQube and Black Duck and other measurements

• Analyse/specify technical requirements and perform feasibility checks

• Document concepts and solutions and share knowledge
