Designing one-line piping diagrams for
cooling water, fuel, bilge, ballast systems, and
more.
Performing essential calculations such as
pressure loss, NPSH, and heat balance, as well as specifying
fittings and instrumentation.
Calculating pipe
diameters and thicknesses.
Tracking package
versions during detailed engineering, construction, and
commissioning phases.
Processing individual
installation instructions from component
suppliers.
Specifying required components in
compliance with construction specifications and standard
regulations.
Procuring valves, fittings, and
instrumentation.
Drafting technical
specifications, reviewing and evaluating supplier quotations, and
working closely with the Procurement Department and Lead Engineers
Machinery & Piping to make informed
decisions.
Coordinating inspections with
classification societies and/or clients to ensure compliance with
all standards.
Functie-eisen
A completed degree in Mechanical
Engineering or a related technical field.
A
minimum of 3 years of relevant work
experience.
Familiarity with regulations from
classification societies and international
authorities.
Awareness of technical
advancements in the field and the ability to initiate research for
improvements.
Experience in (shipbuilding)
engineering is a plus.
Proficiency in Cadmatic
and Teamcenter/IFS is an advantage.
