We are a project-oriented management company outsourcing the main yacht building packages to our strategic co-makers. Your purpose:
Plan and execute commissioning activities for custom-built yachts, refits and fleet support, ensuring all systems and installations are tested, validated, and ready for deliveryWork closely with internal teams, co-makers, and the owner’s representatives to ensure a safe, compliant and high-quality commissioning process in line with Oceanco standards and project objectivesWhat will your challenges be?
Plan and execute commissioning activities, including inspections, testing, calibration, and sea trials, ensuring all yacht systems are safe, compliant, and ready for operationVerify systems against specifications, approve or reject installations, and drive resolution of technical issues and punch list itemsCoordinate commissioning activities, align with internal teams and co-makers, and ensure availability of required resources to meet project timelinesAct as technical interface towards owner’s representatives, co-makers and authorities, maintaining alignment on progress, issues, and solutionsProvide clear reporting on progress and deviations, document commissioning activities, and support decision-making on system approvals What do we ask for?
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical disciplineProven experience in shipbuilding, yacht building, or offshore industryProven extensive experience in in commissioning, testing, or engineering of complex technical systemsProven strong understanding of multidisciplinary yacht or ship systemsProven experience with project-based work and coordination of multiple stakeholdersProficient in MS Office applications and familiar with technical reporting toolsYou recognise yourself in the following competences: problem solving, result orientation, persuasiveness, pro-activity, quality-focusedWhat do we offer?
