As Financial Controller (m/f/x), you will play a key role within the finance team and work closely with management, operational stakeholders, and the CFO. Based in the Amsterdam region, you will help drive informed decision-making by translating financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.

What will you do?

• Leading the monthly closing process and preparing management reports
• Analysing financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Developing budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses
• Building dashboards and translating financial and operational data into actionable insights
• Identifying financial risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives
• Supporting external audits and strengthening internal controls
• Optimising financial processes and reporting structures
• Acting as a strategic business partner for management while working closely with the CFO and finance team

Your Profile

You enjoy challenging assumptions, influencing stakeholders, and helping organisations make better decisions. You are comfortable operating on both a strategic and operational level.

• A Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Business Economics, or Accountancy
• At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller with business partnering responsibilities
• Solid experience with financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is a strong advantage
• Strong Dutch and English communication skills

• Annual gross salary between €70.000 and €90.000 based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience, education level, and background
